If you haven’t seen or read Crazy Sexy Cancer yet, follow Oprah Winfrey’s advice and pick it up ASAP. Originally aired on TLC, Crazy Sexy Cancer stars 31-year-old actress/photographer Kris Carr who, on Valentine’s Day 2003, was diagnosed with a rare and incurable cancer called epithelioid hemangioendothelioma.

The documentary follows Carr across the United States as she explores alternative treatment options and meets many crazy, sexy women fighting the same fight along the way. Cancer isn’t something anyone would wish on their worst enemy, yet every year many thousands of women are diagnosed with it. You lose weight. You lose sleep. You may even lose your hair, a breast, or your life. It is tragic, but this video somehow manages to bring the dreaded C-word out into the light and show women how to be sexy, fun, vivacious and loving no matter what the diagnosis.
