What is Vaginoplasty and How Can it Improve My Sex Life?

What is Vaginoplasty?
Vaginoplasty surgery rejuvenates the vagina by tightening the vaginal muscles and repairing damaged tissue. Stimulation for both parties during sexual intercourse is often increased as a result.
Both men and women may remember how sex felt when they were younger. Is it just that we’ve gotten used to having intercourse and now the novelty has worn off? Why doesn’t it feel as good as it used to?
If you’ve ever asked that question you are not alone. There could be 101 reasons for this, but one of them could have to do with the natural loosening of vaginal muscles due to child-birth, aging or injury.
While researching ideas for another blog entry I ran across the website of a plastic surgeon in Toronto (Click here for the page) who offers vaginoplasty (vaginal tightening) procedures. Looking into it further, I found that this is a very common procedure for cosmetic surgeons to perform in addition to other procedures such as labioplasty (labia reduction) surgery.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had this surgery. Did it work? How much of an improvement was there in sexual stimulation, if any? How long did it take to heal? How much did it cost? Had you previously had any children? Do you plan to have more in the future?
I never had a vaginoplasty surgery, but I did have one of my labia surgically reduced. It was much larger than the other one and I had been embarrassed by it my whole life. Even after I got married I wouldn’t allow my husband to “go down there”. The surgery has done wonders for my confidence and now I even feel silly for missing out on the “down there” part for so many years.
I’d be interested in hearing about whether vaginoplasty works or not too.
